Police: 62-year-old woman fatally stabbed near 21st and Pierce

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 62-year-old woman was fatally stabbed near 21st and Pierce on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Police were called to the scene around 10:30 a.m.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested at the scene in connection.

The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing. Criminal charges against the man arrested will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A homicide investigation is underway near 21st and Pierce in Milwaukee Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says the deceased is an adult female.

An autopsy has been scheduled.
