MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Hoan Bridge will be lit yellow Tuesday, Aug. 19 to recognize Milwaukee Department of Public Works employees.
Light the Hoan announced the tribute on social media on Tuesday, citing the department’s role during recent flooding. The group said DPW crews showed dedication in working to keep the city safe and strong through the storm response.
The bridge’s changing lights are regularly used to highlight community efforts, organizations and causes. Tuesday’s yellow display is specifically dedicated to public works staff.
