A crash so violent in split a car in two. We're now learning more about the young victim now identified as 19-year-old Daryl Brown.
Family members said Wednesday would have been 19-year-old Daryl Brown's Birthday but now the family is grieving his loss instead.
Family members say Brown was on his way to work at the time of the crash. According to the Medical Examiner's report, Brown may have been involved in a minor accident a few blocks away.
The report says he was going 75 MPH when he hit a tree near Fond du Lac and Capitol. He died at the scene.
Family members say he's not an irresponsible person.
"He's 19. His birthday is tomorrow. It's painful just to wake up and say Happy Birthday, may you rest in peace. It doesn't feel right. It's sad. He was just here and now he's gone," said D'Andre Hogan, cousin of the victim.
The Medical Examiner's report says Brown did not have a valid driver's license.
A GoFundMe has been created to help the family pay for funeral arrangements. If you'd like to donate, click here.
