State Highway 50 is set to reopen in Kenosha County

A section of Highway 50 in Kenosha County that was closed by high water for days is scheduled to reopen Tuesday.

The Sheriff's Department has stated that the barricades will come down by 3 p.m. this afternoon.

It's been nearly a week since the area was drenched with the second of two waves of heavy rain.

Crews have been working around the clock to make roads in the area passable once again.
