High School Students Waking Up Early to Ring Bells for Salvation Army

Students at Brookfield Central High School are getting up a little earlier this week to help those less fortunate.

Nineteen high school students from the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Club will be out every morning this week ringing bells before they go to class.  The students started the club last year with the goal of introducing high school students to the Salvation Army.

The students raised a $1,000 last year ringing bells.  They've also volunteered at community events, prepared snack bags for kids at the Salvation Army's emergency lodge and designed greeting cards for the annual Christmas Family Feast Dinner.
