SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- According to a release from Shorewood Police, they received a report just before 4 a.m. in the 3900 block of North Maryland Avenue for a report of a man with a gun acting erratically inside his apartment.
When police arrived they man locked himself in the apartment and refused to come out. The SWAT team was requested as a precaution.
Shortly after 7 a.m. a 44-year-old Shorewood man was taken into custody. No injuries were reported.

SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- As of 7:50 a.m., the situation has been cleared.
Witnesses say one man was arrested near E. Capitol Dr. and N. Maryland Ave.

SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A heavy police presence was spotted near E. Capitol Dr. and N. Frederick Ave. early Wednesday morning in Shorewood.
Authorities are not releasing any information on the incident at this time. The Shorewood Police Department is expected to hold a media briefing sometime on Wednesday.
