Heat at the Harley-Museum in June: 'Mama' of exhibits, Father's Day fun and vintage velocity 🏍️

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Harley-Davidson Museum is ready to get Milwaukee prepared for a June packed full of action, even as they prepare for their 120th anniversary festivities in July.

In their "Mama Tried: Bringing it Together" exhibit, the museum will showcase an array of bikes ranging from wild custom models to rare vintage machines, including the 1929 FHAC with FLXI Sidecar Factory Racer. The exhibit, focused on builders, racers and fans, opens on Friday, June 17.

A Father's Day celebration will take place on the museum campus on Sunday, June 18. This event will feature free admission for fathers and grandfathers, while the MOTOR Bar and Restaurant offers a complimentary grill special with the purchase of a beverage. Additional activities include Division BMX stunt shows and various lawn games.

The "Wild Ones: Vintage Motorcycle Rally" scheduled for Saturday, June 24, is set to celebrate Harley-Davidson’s history and heritage with a 1940s-style rally. The event will host an antique motorcycle ride-in show and motorcycle field games, with proceeds going towards the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.

Before all of those festivities get underway, the Museum's Factory Outlet Summer Sale returned on Thursday, June 1 and will continue through Sunday, June 4. The sale, held in The Garage on the museum's campus, offers savings on discontinued Harley-Davidson MotorClothes merchandise, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, outerwear, hats, gloves, leather jackets and more.
