Headley homers in 12th to end Brewers win streak

 MILWAUKEE - Chase Headley's 12th inning homerun provided the difference in the San Diego Padres' 2-1 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers Monday night at Miller Park.


The loss snapped the Brewers four game winning streak, but the Brewers still own the major leagues best record at 15-6.


Scooter Gennett homered in the loss to provide the Brewers' only run.


Carlos Gomez played for the Brewers Monday night, as he is appealing his five-game suspension from Major League Baseball. Martin Maldonado begin serving his five-game suspension Monday night.
