WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A group in Waukesha is ready to help animals affected by Tropical Storm Florence.
The Humane Animal Welfare Society says they're willing to take in rescue dogs and cats who are abandoned in the storm.
"When there is a disaster, they let us know, we may need you, it's all done with two people with computers and lots of people on the ground," said Lynn Olenik with HAWS.
The shelter has taken in animals from Houston and Puerto Rico during large hurricanes last year.
