They hosted a happy hour after city leaders passed an ordinance declaring the scooters illegal to ride on city streets.
The ordinance makes scooters illegal to ride on the street and they can be impounded starting Saturday.
People CBS 58 News spoke with at the happy hour say they're not a fan of trying to get rid of the scooters.
"Honestly I love Bird. It's a lot of fun. I work downtown. I have to make a few deliveries here and there, so it's like short, quick trip from my office, so I'll just grab whatever I need, take it to another office, drop it off, take a Bird back, park it. It's really simple. Don't have to take my car, don't have to walk," said Matthew Dorsey who attended Bird Happy Hour.
Common Council members voted 12-2 to declare the scooters illegal.
They also gave the Department of Public Works the green light to begin removing them.
