Happ wins Big Ten honor for second straight week

MADISON - Badgers big man Ethan Happ has been so dominant lately, he's done something no Badgers player has done in more than a decade.

For the second straight week, Happ has been named the Big Ten's Player Of The Week. The last UW men's basketball player to earn that distinction was Mike Wilkinson in 2005.

Happ scored 32 points in Wisconsin's overtime win at Rutgers Saturday. He averaged 23 points per game for the week as Wisconsin went undefeated and crept back into the AP Poll's top 10.

The Badgers face Illinois Tuesday night.
