DELAFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) – Turkey, stuffing, and football are some standard Thanksgiving traditions but for a group in Delafield, shopping has become the new tradition.
"We've been here first for nine years. The first year we came by we were way back in line. We didn't get any of the things we wanted and that's how we all met. We all met here, none of us knew each other until we met here in line, so the following year we got together, we got here a week early and it's become tradition ever since," said Mike Frankie who camps out every year outside the Delafield Best Buy.
2018 marks the tenth year the group has camped out together at Best Buy. They say there used to be 12 in their group and they're down to four. Last year, they came out even earlier bringing a 40" TV and several different heat sources. This year, they've scaled back a little just spending one night.
They say the gadget they're most excited for this year is the Echo Dot.
