Group calls on President Trump to keep clean air standards
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Leaders in Milwaukee came together with a clear message for President Donald Trump – keep our air clean.
The Wisconsin League of Conservation voters said they’re concerned the EPA is working to roll back clean car standards which help ensure that vehicles are more fuel-efficient and reduce pollution.
“Clean air is a human right. We all deserve the right and the opportunity to live freely and be able to breathe freely,” says former State Representative Mandela Barnes.
Speakers encouraged the Trump administration to keep clean air standards and pointed to local efforts to protect public health and save taxpayers money.
