Groundhog Day Storm-Update as of 6am Tuesday

The latest winter storm is bearing down on the area.  As we've been forecasting, it looks like any snow will switch over to rain and/or a wintry mix during the afternoon, at least across the metro (Milwaukee, Racine, and Waukesha).  Looks like we'll see the rain switch back to snow into Wednesday morning.  The wind will cause poor visibility with blowing on Wednesday.

If you travel to the outskirts of the viewing area, say around Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, or, Beaver Dam, you are under a Winter Weather Advisory from 9am Tuesday until 6am Wednesday. In this general area, you could see more than four inches of snow.  This is where the heavy axis of snow will be.
