Grocery Stores Expected to be Busy Again Thanksgiving Morning

If you need to get in some last minute grocery shopping, don’t expect to beat the crowd by going Thursday morning.

Metro Market manager Andy Gifford says he’s expected stores to get hit with a second rush of people early Thanksgiving Day thanks to the Packers.

"If the Packers play at 11 o'clock then you don't get that early morning crowd, sometimes getting ready for Thanksgiving. But with the Packers playing a night game this year, I think you're going to see a morning rush for Thanksgiving as well." Gifford said.

Most Milwaukee area grocery stores will close sometime late Thursday afternoon.
