FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Whitnall Park Golf Course located in Franklin, was vandalized over the weekend.
According to a post from the Milwaukee County Parks Facebook page on Monday, Oct. 5, the 13th and 14th greens were damaged over the weekend Oct. 2-4. Pictures show tire marks near both holes with the greens ripped up and destroyed.
Park officials say the front nine and other seven back nine greens are open for play. However, the damaged greens will not be in good condition for the rest of fall 2020 and potentially into spring 2021.
"Our goal is to get them healed for the 2021 summer season," said Milwaukee County Parks in the Facebook post.
Anyone with information on the vandalism to the greens should contact the Franklin Police Department.
