Greenfield Farmers Market opens May 3 with expanded lineup

GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Greenfield Farmers Market returns to Konkel Park on Sunday, May 3 and is scheduled to run weekly from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Oct. 25, according to a Wednesday, April 8 press release from the city's Parks and Recreation Department.

The market is set to feature around 109 vendors this season, a 17% increase over 2024. Organizers said they received more than twice as many applications as available spaces.

New programming includes a monthly Makers Market for artisan goods on the first Sunday of each month, Kids Craft Day on the third Sunday from June through September and live cooking demonstrations on the fourth Sunday.

The market will also host a "farm-to-fork" long-table dinner on Wednesday, Aug. 26, featuring ingredients sourced from market vendors.
