Greendale School District given all clear after earlier lock down

Greendale Police Department advised the Greendale School District they were looking for a suspect in the area of the schools around noon, according to Kitty Goyette Greendale School District Communication Director.

Canterbury Elementary and Greendale Middle School were placed on lock-down. The students were kept in their classrooms.

The Greendale High School was placed on a hold status at 12:15 PM. Nobody was allowed to come in or out of the building, but normal activities were allowed to resume.

At 12:40 PM, the Greendale Police Department notified the Greendale School District that it was safe to give an all clear.
