Green Bay Police Department Conducts Internal Investigation Amid Reports of Harassment

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A Green Bay Police officer has resigned, and several others will be disciplined following an internal investigation.

According to Chief Andrew Smith, the investigation was in response to reports of harassment, and a hostile work environment. He says that the internal investigation was initiated by the department and was not due to any external complaints. 

The officers who were involved have not been identified. 

Chief Smith is expected to release more information about the investigation during a news conference at 2 p.m. Friday.
