GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Wisconsin grandmother’s Packers tribute song is gaining traction online as her family pushes to bring it to Lambeau Field.

Hannah LaMarre began posting videos of her memaw, JoAnn McDonough-Toreano, singing the song in June. The 82-year-old wrote it more than 20 years ago after returning from a polka festival, completing the lyrics in about 15 minutes.

LaMarre said McDonough-Toreano used to sing it to her grandchildren.

The lyrics include: "I want to be a Packer fan dressed in Green and Gold / I hear they are the best there is, at least that’s what I’m told. I want to be a cheesehead sitting in the crowd / Eating brats, drinking beer and burping really loud!"

The family has released related merchandise and said they are especially encouraged by reactions from non-Packers fans. The long-term goal is to record the song and perform it at Lambeau Field.
