Grafton Police Arrests Two Alleged Prowlers Dressed in All Black
Grafton Police arrested two suspects for theft of a vehicle after receiving a call of a prowler in a residential area.
On Monday at approximately 11:28 p.m., Grafton Police Officers were dispatched to the area of the 2300 block of Kiowa Drive for the report of prowlers in the area.
The caller said that a white pickup truck had parked in this area and two people had exited and were walking up and looking in people’s cars that were parked in driveways.
The subjects were described as being dressed in all black.
When officers arrived in the area they observed the white pickup truck and the two subjects were in the vehicle.
Officers made contact with the two subjects and investigation revealed that both suspects had been involved in theft from a vehicle in this specific area, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing, prowling and violation of probation.
In addition, the operator of the vehicle, Stafford, was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. Both suspects have lengthy criminal records.
