Governor Scott Walker stopped at the New Berlin School District Office Monday, part of his State of the State Tour.
His visit was surrounded by the importance of education.
It’s something he heavily focused on in his State of the State speech last week.
Some New Berlin high school students are enrolled in the college and career readiness initiative.
It's goal is to prepare students through training to enter the workforce in technical jobs that are highly sought in Wisconsin.
It's a program the governor applauds.
