MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Governor Scott Walker is celebrating the opening of a new charter school on Milwaukee's south side.
"We're excited about the career opportunities that will come out of the work and education provided here," said Gov. Scott Walker (R) Wisconsin.
Governor Walker stopped by United Community Center's Acosta Middle School Wednesday near 6th and Washington. The school has 160 students for the 2018-19 school year, but is expected to grow to 250 students by 2021.
