Golf Tournament is Held for National Fallen Firefighters Foundation

If a firefighter dies in the line of duty, the National Fallen Firefighters’ Foundation steps in.

To raise money they held 2016 golf tournament at the Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex.

CBS 58’s Bill Walsh took a swing in the fireman's suit.

The foundation is not supported by government money so they depend on events like this to get the money they need to help families.

"Once you're a part of the foundation family, they're there for you for life, it never ends whatever you need and it's a help because you're losing a person that you weren't expecting to lose so fast,” said a member of the foundation.
