Golden Eagles rally to beat NJIT at Bradley Center

Two days after losing to Nebraska-Omaha at home, the Marquette Golden Eagles survived another tough test from an upset-minded underdog in NJIT, but a late MU rally held off the Highlanders 62-57 Monday night.

Juan Anderson scored 20 points to lead the Golden Eagles, while Duane Wilson added 18. There were several lead changes in the second half, and NJIT was within a point with a minute and a half to play.

Still, Steve Wojciechowski's team held on for the win and snapped their two game losing streak. MU has lost to Ohio State before the home loss to Nebraska-Omaha.

Marquette heads to Orlando later this week for a Thanksgiving tournament.
