Today, the nation is asked to join in a sea of red for the 10th annual National Wear Red Day.
Jay Matz with the local American Heart Association joined the CBS 58 Morning News to share why this day is so important and what the public can do to spread awareness.
Governor Scott Walker issued a statement Thursday asking Wisconsinites to wear red as well.
