Suspect in homicide of Glendale woman arrested in Indiana

GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) ---Glendale police say the suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of 45-year-old Kamonti McFarlane has been identified as Demonta Hambright.
Officials say they received a phone call from the Clark County Sheriff's Office in Indiana the morning of Sept. 30. The sheriff's office located Hambright's vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop, leading to a high-speed pursuit and crash.
Police say Hambright fled on foot and was taken into custody a short time later.
He is currently in custody in Indiana while extradition is arranged.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County DA's Office.

They say the woman injured remains in critical condition.

GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A woman was critically injured in a shooting Monday, Sept. 29, in Glendale, according to police.
Officers responded at 11:49 p.m. to the area of Custer and Shasta for a report of shots fired. Police said they found a woman suffering from critical injuries.
The victim was transported by the North Shore Fire Department to a nearby hospital.
Investigators said the shooting appears to be a targeted incident. The case is still under investigation.
