Girls Like Us to bring holiday performance to Oconomowoc

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Chicago-based cabaret group Girls Like Us is scheduled to bring holiday cheer to the Oconomowoc Arts Center with their show "The Most Wonderful Time of Year" on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.

The trio is made up of Laura Freeman, Beckie Menzie and Marianne Murphy-Orland, and they will showcase a blend of humor and renditions of classic holiday songs that aim to blend Broadway style with a sense of humor.

The performance will feature a variety of holiday classics, including "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Winter Wonderland," "Silent Night" and "Oh Holy Night."

Girls Like Us has a track record of successful performances, ranging from private concerts in New York City to theatres across the Midwest.

For those interested in attending, tickets are available at varied prices: $39 for adults, $34 for seniors aged 60 and up and military personnel, $18 for teens 13 to 19, $15 for children 12 and younger and $33 for groups of ten or more.
