SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The Girl Scouts launched their Girl Scout Cookies program on Friday.
More than 16,000 local Girl Scouts are expected to take part this year.
Cookie season runs through January 28 and they'll be delivered around mid-February.
CBS 58 News spoke with some local girl scouts about this year's cookie-selling.
"My strategy is going out in the neighborhood door-to-door and I go to my grandma's neighborhood, and I contact relatives and friends," said one Girl Scout.
