Giannis ties Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most All-Star selections in Bucks history

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named a a starter in his sixth All-Star selection. 

He is the only Bucks player to be selected as a starter for the 2022 All-Star game, though others could be named as reserves. 

Giannis has started every All-Star game he has been in and was named Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP in 2021.

He has now tied Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most All-Star selections in Bucks history.

The Greek Freak enters this year's NBA All-Star game as the game's all-time leader in scoring average at 28.8 points per game, according to the Bucks.

Fans, media and players determined the starters for the 2022 game, which will take place on Feb. 20 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland. Fans accounted for 50% of the vote, while media and players accounted for 25% each.
