Giannis teams up with Huggies to donate $100K in diapers to Milwaukee Diaper Mission

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Giannis Antetokounmpo is teaming up with Huggies to donate $100,000 worth of diapers to Milwaukee Diaper Mission (MDM).

“As a father, I know how much love and care goes into raising a child — and how something as simple as clean diapers can make a huge difference for families,” Giannis said. “I’m grateful to partner with Huggies and support the incredible work Milwaukee Diaper Mission is doing for our community.”

The nonprofit calls the donation both "timely and transformative."

“Diaper need is a reality for 1 in 2 U.S. families,” said Meagan Johnson, executive director of MDM. “At Milwaukee Diaper Mission, we work every day to fill that gap and give families one less thing to worry about. At a time when the need in our community is steadily rising, this gift will provide two months of support to the thousands of caregivers and children we serve, ensuring they will stay clean, dry, and healthy.”

Mariah Antetokounmpo serves as director of strategic initiatives at the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation (CAFF) and is co-founder of The BIG Give Back initiative alongside MDM -- an annual fundraiser collecting diapers and other supplies for thousands of local families.

“This gift builds on a beautiful partnership that Mariah and Milwaukee Diaper Mission started years ago,” said Lauren Cochlin, executive director of CAFF. “From The BIG Give Back to today’s partnership with Huggies, the Antetokounmpos continue to put families first, and at CAFF, we’re proud to help carry that forward.”
