Giannis Antetokounmpo officially out for Game 6, injury report says

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Giannis Antetokounmpo is officially out for Game 6 on Saturday, July 3, due to a hyperextended left knee, according to an injury report. 

The injury report also states Atlanta Hawk's star player Trae Young is questionable for Saturday's game. 

The latest update for the injury report came at 1:30 p.m. 

Antetokounmpo did not play in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday, July 1. Bucks fans were shocked after seeing Antetokounmpo walk off the court with a hyperextended knee injury during Game 4 on Tuesday, June 29. 

The Milwaukee Bucks said Antetokounmpo, 26, underwent an MRi and subsequent examination by team Physician Dr. Carole Vetter of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network. The MRI confirmed the earlier diagnosis. 

Fans are wishing Antetokounmpo a speedy recovery and will continue to cheer the team on in the Deer District for Game 6
