German Fest will return to Milwaukee's lakefront for 40th anniversary celebration

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- German Fest is returning to Milwaukee's lakefront this summer after a two-year hiatus.

According to the festival's website, a 40th anniversary celebration will be held from July 29-31 on the Summerfest grounds following two years off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The three-day event is slated to include a Culture Village, Marketplatz, five stages of entertainment, food, drinks, fireworks, a parade, dachshund derby and more. 

General admission tickets run $12 for adults, $7 for seniors or students with valid school IDs, and $21 for a three-day pass.
