A popular Milwaukee barbershop has a new home in the city's Bronzeville Neighborhood.
Gee's Clippers is moving into an old bank building at MLK and Garfield.
Owner Gaulien Smith tells us that it was a hard decision to consolidate, but hopes Gee's will continue being a staple in the community.
"A barbershop is more than just a place to help you look good, feel good. It's a staple, heartbeat in the community. That place that helps the community strive, to help the community be a better place, Smith said.
Thirty barbers and stylists will be working in the new building. The expansion was made possible in part by Milwaukee's 'City Wide White Box Program' which gives funding to businesses that revitalize neighborhoods.
