Garza struggles again as Brewers drop third straight

The Royals roughed up Matt Garza for six runs in 6 2/3 innings in a 7-2 win Tuesday at Miller Park, the Brewers third straight defeat.

Garza allowed 13 hits in the outing and fell to 4-8 on the season. Royals pitcher Chris Young had two hits and three runs batted in for the first place Royals.

Jonathan Lucroy's eighth inning single and Scooter Gennett's ninth inning home run accounted for the Brewers two runs. The four game series shifts to Kansas City for matchups Wednesday and Thursday.
