Garage door issues in the bitter cold

 NEW BERLIN - As hard as the cold is on vehicles, it seems to be as just as hard on garage doors and openers. Adam Overhead Door says service calls have been up significantly during this very cold winter so far. Owner Mike Worske says garage door springs breaking have been the biggest problems in the bitter cold, but openers have been failing as well. Worske says it's important to winterize your garage door opener before hand to avoid problems in the winter. He says the easiest way is by lubing up the chain and opener gears before the cold weather sets in.
