Funeral Planned for Chris Kegel on February 18

Wheel and Sprocket owner’s funeral will take place on Saturday February 18.

Wheel and Sprocket released a statement that Chris Kegel’s funeral will be held at Saint Matthias Catholic Parish on W Beloit Road.

There will be a reception from 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM, and presentation at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 17.                         

On Saturday February 18, the funeral will. Take place at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, a tax-deductible donation can be made to The Chris Kegel Foundation: http://www.chriskegel.com/the-chris-kegel-foundation/ . The foundation has been established by the family to continue Chris’ commitment to improving lives by providing greater access to bicycling.

Kegel died earlier this week.
