WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Fifty-five people across the country are being honored with FBI leader Kash Patel's Community Leadership Award.
Here in Wisconsin, that honor is going to Rabbi Levi Stein, who is the president of the nonprofit Friendship Circle of Wisconsin.
Their mission is to help people with disabilities or mental health challenges overcome social isolation and make a positive impact in their community.
On Monday, Rabbi Stein accepted his award and gave credit to his team for their outstanding work.
"We all need each other; it's not just one piece of the organization that is successful alone," Rabbi Stein said. "We all form together as a family, as I said earlier, recognizing these efforts help the efforts grow."
The Community Leadership Award has been given out for nearly 40 years, with over 2,000 people earning the honors across the country.
