Fauntleroy, a French restaurant in Milwaukee's Third Ward, to close permanently

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fauntleroy, a French restaurant in Milwaukee's Third Ward, announced it will be permanently closing amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The restaurant made the announcement on Facebook Wednesday, July 15. Fauntleroy, 316 N. Milwaukee St., will officially close after service Saturday, July 18.
Co-owners Dan Van Rite and Daniel Jacobs called the decision "truly devastating".
"While we will be moving on to the next chapter, we are really proud of what we were able to accomplish over the last two years. The memories of the staff and watching them grow and flip the switch on what French food is will always be what sticks with Dan and I," the Facebook post stated.
