Freebies for Veterans

In honor of Veterans Day, we have compiled a list of just some of the freebies and discounts offered to veterans and active military members.

- A free entree at the Olive Garden.

- A free burrito or taco at Chipotle after 3 PM.

- Free appetizers or desserts at Longhorn Steakhouse, no purchase required. They're also offering a 10% discount to guests who dine with veterans today.

- IHOP is offering a free stack of their famous red white and blue pancakes from 7 AM to 7 PM

- Starbucks is giving away a tall brewed coffee to veterans, service members and military spouses.

- Empire Beauty School is thanking service members by giving away free haircuts today in their Haircuts For Heroes campaign. That's from 9-3 today at the Milwaukee location on S 27th street.

- A free massage and sensory deprivation float at Nelipot's Mind and Body Rejuvenation. There are only 24 openings (9 massages and 16 floats) which are available first come, first served.

- Free golf at any of Milwaukee County Park's golf courses. Tee-time reservations are recommended. Veterans can reserve online, by phone or at the course. For more information, click here.

- Veterans get two free tickets to UWM's Men's Basketball season opener tonight against the MSOE Raiders. There's a form to fill out and submit online, check it out here.

- Free Harley-Davidson Museum admission today and through the weekend for  active military, veterans and their families. Vets can bring another adult and up to four children at no charge. Attendees will get to learn more about Harley-Davidson's military involvement during a Military Gallery Talk at 11 and 2:30 PM.  The Motor Bar and Restaurant, as well as The Shop, are also offering military discounts.

Baskin Robbins is donating a portion of its profits today to United Service Organizations.  

For all the promotions, do not forget to bring your military ID as most business will require it.
