MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For the 9th year, McBob's Pub and Grill on North Avenue organized a community Thanksgiving dinner, inviting those in the community to come and enjoy a free meal.
"We have volunteers doing all of this amazing work and helping us since 7:00 this morning, cutting pies, and making food, and just making everything happen so it's been a pretty great day," said Katy Klinner, co-owner.
Dinner is served on Thanksgiving Day from 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 4919 W. North Avenue.
"We've invited the entire community and really said, if you need a place to belong on Thanksgiving, no matter what the reason is, you have a space at our table," Klinner says.
The meal includes turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mac and cheese and more. "We made 60 turkeys, all donated by the Turkey Club and through Hunger Task Force," said Klinner.
Jeffrey Stingley is one of hundreds who showed up for a meal. "Milwaukee is going to feed you," he said.
