MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Alderman Peter Burgelis invited the community to the annual free community Thanksgiving dinner Saturday, Nov. 8 hosted by the local nonprofit Live Laugh Loaves MKE.
All the Thanksgiving staples were served including turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls and pumpkin pie.
MiquelaRae Artz, CEO of Live Laugh Loaves MKE, said the event brings unity to the community.
"We're aiming to achieve unity in the community and bringing people together who don't have a hot Thanksgiving meal and providing it to them for free," Artz said.
Earlier this year, Natalie Shepherd featured Live Laugh Loaves MKE in Natalie's Everyday Heroes.
