FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- In April, Franklin Public Schools broke ground for a facility designed to promote wellness and learning across the district.
That project ended Thursday, Dec. 4, marking the opening of their new Community Education & Recreation Center.

The space offers three studio spaces for classes such as pickleball, yoga and Pilates.
It also includes outdoor fitness stations, a renovated athletic field, and an all-inclusive playground.
"This is going to be a wonderful asset to our community, students, general residents all being able to use this," said Franklin Mayor John Nelson. "It's one of a kind, it has been long overdue, and we are all very, very proud to have this."
To encourage new visitors, the center is offering two weeks of free preview class starting Dec. 8.
