Franklin Police Arrest Appleton Woman for Running a Prostitution Place in a Spa

Franklin Police Department have charged a Appleton woman with running a place for prostitution at King Sunshine Spa.
The spa was located at 2826 West Rawson Avenue.
Undercover police officers had massages on five separate occasions from March 10 to October 2015. During each occasion, spa employees repeatedly touched the officers sexually. The officers believe spa employees were attempting to arouse them.
Shuying Ding has been arrested for keeping place of prostitution.
Police received numerous complaints regarding the business. One person noticed that there were no posted hours of operation on the door of the business and employees were there late into the night.
Clientele going into the spa appeared to be older males.
Females were never observed entering the spa.
In January 2015, a woman entered the salon and asked for a list of services. No such list of services was provided and a male employee told her it was $60 per hour.
After executing a search warrant a s spa ledger was found. The ledger included extra services that were sexual.
One of the workers interviewed said defendants picked up the money from the massage parlor during the week.
The defendant admitted owning the spa and coming to the spa at least once a week.
