RACINE COUNTY (CBS 58) – The project to reconstruct six and a half miles of frontage road along Interstate 94 for the Foxconn plant begins Monday.
The $10 billion Foxconn manufacturing plant will be in Mount Pleasant. I-94 needs to be widened as part of the project. In order to widen the highway, the frontage road will need to be rebuilt. The first steps will be tree cleaning, stump removal, traffic control and erosion control.
The $12.7 million project is being completed by Hoffman Construction of Black River Falls. The frontage road project is expected to be finished by June 1.
