Foxconn plant in Mount Pleasant to assemble parts for Google servers, report says

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Google could soon be breathing some new life into the Foxconn plant in Mount Pleasant.

Bloomberg reported Foxconn will use the Wisconsin factory to assemble parts for Google servers.

This is a new contract for the Taiwanese company, which has been under fire for not meeting goals for creating jobs in Wisconsin.

The report says mass production should start in the first three months of 2021.
