Four-year-old boy injured in overnight shootings in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police are investigating after seven people were injured in overnight shootings including a four-year-old boy.


The four-year-old was wounded along with a 21-year-old male around 9:35 p.m. Saturday during a shooting that happened in the 2100 block of S. 15th Street.


They were both taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police said that the motive for the shooting is unknown and there are no suspects in custody at this time.


Four people were injured during a shooting following an altercation at a house party. A 21-year-old man, a 24-year-old female, a 25-year-old female and a 20-year-old man were shot when gun fire rang out shortly after 1:00 a.m. in the 2800 block of W. Center Ave.


Police said that there are no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing.


A man was also injured during an accidental shooting that happened in the 4200 block of W. Silver Spring around 12:20 a.m.


Police said that a 32-year-old man accidentally shot himself. He was being treated at a local hospital for a non-life threatening injury. He was lawfully carrying the handgun.
