Former Packers Gilbert Brown's Football Camp Opens

Some area kids got the chance to learn football from one of the best on Tuesday.

Former Packers Gilbert Brown hosted a free football camp today at North Division High School in Milwaukee.

AT&T helps put this camp on.

Brown has done this for 11-straight years and that he isn't just giving these kids football skills at the camp.

“We're trying to teach them the right way to practice, the right fundamentals of the game. And respect the life out here. If you see these little kids out here and they don't say 'yes sir, no sir' I'm throwing them out because they need that respect and that's what we're doing out here, teach them that respect,” said Gilbert Brown.

The camp goes two more days.

The morning session is for 8-to-12 year olds and the afternoon camp for ages 13-to-17 years-old.
