Fond du Lac Police take 'person of interest' into custody after shots fired incident outside home

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Fond du Lac Police Department is currently investigating a shots fired incident.

Officers were called to a home in the 200 block of East 9th Street around 1:07 p.m. Monday for a report of possible gunshots being fired.

Upon arrival, officers located shell casings. 

A witness was able to provide officers with a description of a possible suspect and vehicle leaving the area.

A person of interest was taken into custody.

At this time, no injuries have been reported, police say.

The incident remains under investigation.
