UPDATE: Missing 12-year-old girl from Fond du Lac found safe

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A missing 12-year-old girl who was reported missing from Fond du Lac has been found.

The Fond du Lac Police Department said Donaja Reed is safe and investigators are in contact with her.

Police said they appreciated the public's help finding her.

10:36 p.m. July 2, 2019

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fond du Lac police need help locating 12-year-old Donaja R. Reed, who was reported missing Tuesday night.

Donaja is described as a female, black, standing 5'2", and weighing about 125 pounds. She has black hair with a blond highlight toward the front and brown eyes.

She was last seen at the Fond du Lac Fairgrounds Aquatic Center, wearing a gold sleeveless shirt and black shorts with black and white sandals.

Donaja reportedly left the fairgrounds before her mother picked her up.
